About Una Voce

Una Voce logo

The mission of Una Voce is, and has been since its founding in 1964, the promotion and support of the traditional Latin Mass and Gregorian chant, within the Church and in union with Rome. Our mission is not directly concerned with other political or social teachings. For example, although many Una Voce members are involved in pro-life causes and pray daily for an end to abortion, pro-life activities are not a part of Una Voce's mission. There are many fine pro-life groups that Catholics can and should join; Una Voce focuses on the Latin Mass and Gregorian chant.

What does Pope Benedict XVI say about Una Voce?

"The International Una Voce Federation has played an important role in supporting the use of the 1962 edition of the Roman Missal in obedience to the directives of the Holy See. For this valuable service I express my gratitude to the members of the Federation and extend my blessing."
Pope Benedict XVI, as Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger
